Welcome to our shop! We're Jen and Ed, a husband and wife team from the suburbs of Chicago. I have been working as a Graphic Designer for over 30 years and have always had an interest in home renovations and unique decor that truly makes a house a home. When my husband retired, I thought he needed some 'projects' to keep him busy (although he would argue that he'd be perfectly content with fishing only) and figured why not utilize his carpentry skills and workshop that is filled with a never-ending tool collection. And so, we began our 'crafting' journey— working together, we build and put the finishing touches on each of our handcrafted pieces. We have been participating in various local craft shows and have enjoyed meeting so many new people! The pride we hold when one of our handmade items leaves with a customer is immeasurable and so we decided to expand and open our online shop. Thank you for shopping handmade!
